This Is Not Just Ziplining in the Dark
Zombie Zips is a completely different kind of Halloween experience.
Your night begins on foot as you enter an immersive ¼-mile terror trail built into the forest at NYzipline. You’ll move through disturbing scenes, enclosed spaces, darkness and unexpected encounters as the trail pulls you deeper into the woods.
You won’t hear a chainsaw revving, wait for a mechanical prop to spring, or feel the rumble of a generator powering all the theatrics. Out here, the darkness, the woods and what’s waiting in them do most of the work.
And Surviving the Trail Is Only the Beginning
Eventually the trail leads you to the top of the zipline park.
That’s where our zombie guides harness you in, bring you into the treetops and start sending you across multiple ziplines through the forest in complete darkness.

A Halloween Experience Worth the Drive
Zombie Zips has been terrifying guests in Schenectady for nearly a decade, and people routinely travel hours to experience it. We’ve even had a guest fly in specifically for Zombie Zips.
For 2026, we’ve completely rebuilt and expanded the terror portion of the experience, creating a much more immersive journey before you ever reach the first zipline.
